Kenneth (Kenny) Allen MacDonald 5/11/59-12/26/19

With deep sadness, Dr. Diann Rogers announces the passing of her beloved Brother, Kenneth (Kenny) Allen MacDonald. He went home to heaven on Thursday, December 26, 2019 due to a sudden heart attack in his home in Bullhead City, Arizona

He was born on May 11, 1959 in Redlands, California. Kenny attended James Monroe Highschool in North Hills, California. Kenny served in the US Army as Corporal in Special Forces and as an Air Borne Ranger from 1978 to 1981. He worked for Superior Signal, CT and F Construction, Allied Signal Aerospace and completed his employment as a Non-Destructive Tester Level 3 with offshore oil rigs and refineries in USA and Canada. He was a member of The American Society of Nondestructive Testing from 1999 to 2019. He received many awards for Safety, Accuracy, 100% Attendance, Hazmat, ISO9000 and Service medals.

Kenny was avid about volunteering that he and Phil Friedman Enterprises, exposed at risk intercity youths to the fun, challenges and teamwork involved in deep sea fishing. His hobbies included deep sea fishing expeditions, fishing, jewelry making, collecting coins, occupied Japan dishes and china, and 1st edition books that he ravenously read 1000’s of a year.

He was predeceased by his Father, Steven F. MacDonald (1978), Grandmother, Francis E. Hass (1987), Grandmother, Irma F. Bento (1998), and Stepfather, Larry Nakata (2015).

Kenneth is survived by his sister, Dr. Diann Rogers, her Husband Dr. Neal Rogers; nephews, Steven (Kacey) Martinez and Matthew (Lexi) Wells; Grandnephews, Steven Wells, Logan Wells, Hudson Martinez, and Grandniece Frankie Martinez; and all Southern California.

Funeral date and place to be determined by Dr. Diann Rogers.

All arrangements are being handled by Desert Lawn Funeral Home, Mohave Valley, Arizona.
