Patricia Hensley, 80 years old, passed away in Bullhead City, AZ at home on December 28, 2020 after battling colon cancer. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on April 20, 1940 and graduated from Tech High School in 1958.

Mom loved to go to the casinos, watch Hallmark station and sports.
She followed Arizona Diamond Backs Baseball, Arizona Cardinals Football,
Iowa Hawkeyes Football, and basketball. She followed NCAA Softball and helped coach her daughters in softball as we were growing up.

She was a member of Marine Corp Women’s Auxiliary and retired from Meredith Printing in 2000.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Hensley, of 55 years and daughters Ann Sampson (Gerry) Des  Moines, IA , Monica Hanson (special friend Scott Russell) Kalispell, MT, Kim Walz (Curt), Sioux Falls, SD, Rhonda Dutton (Bruce) Bella Vista, AR.  She is also survived by the following: Our special friends, Melissa Otero with Wings of an Angel, who took very good care of our Mother during her last months of life, Ashlee Goodrich and also her special friend Jessica Hensley Carlisle, IA.

Sisters, Kathy Stalter Indianola IA, Colleen Lappe, Lodi, CA, Sister In-law Delores Drown Chicago, IL. Grandchildren, Jenny Lee, Joni Hanson , Jeremy Hensley, Jeremy Hanson, Paul Doke (Kelsey), Bobby Sample, Great grandchildren, Dawson Lee, Devon Lee , Zoey Hanson, Evie Hanson, Hayden Doke, Taylor Doke, Jax Hensley, and Jantz Hensley plus many nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her son Kevin Halsey, her mother Catherine Bemisdarfer, and Brother In-law David Drown.

Her Celebration of Life will be announced in spring.
