Beverly Mae Whitely, 88, died peacefully in her home in Mohave Valley, Arizona on July 11, 2021 with her loving husband of 37 years, Gene, at her side. She was born November 1, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska the youngest child of Harry Jay Neil (1890-1949) and Margaret Ruth Kleeberger Neil (1895-1973). She graduated from Omaha Technical High School class of 1950 and studied at the University of Nebraska. She later made her home in Green River, Wyoming and would continue to spend her summers there after she moved to Arizona. She was active with the FOE and Red Hat Society.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Gene; her children, Susan Elliott, John Tingle, Patti Olson, Kas Carter and Thomas Tingle. She was “Granny B” to 10 grandchildren,13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings. Gloria Maxine Neil (1919-1978), Virginia Retta Shirley (1921-1993), Glady Jean Kyzar (1926-2010) and Leland Dwight Neil (1928-2010).
