Dorothy Jean Glidden, age 80, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on July 9, 2021 in Bullhead City, Arizona. Jean was born to Ralph and Dorothy Collins in Dallas, Texas on July 21, 1940. After moving to California, at an early age with her family, Jean attended Reseda High School as well as earning her Associates Degree from Pierce College. Jean met Lee in 1958 and they began life’s journey as husband and wife on February 21, 1962. Jean enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved cheering from the stands as she supported her grandkids sporting events.

Jean is survived by her devoted husband, Lee Glidden; her loving daughters, Kelly Glidden and Merilee Johnson; (husband, Billy) grandchildren, Brooke, Chandler, Holden, and Kathryn; brother, Ralph (wife, Lynn) Collins Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church, 1619 Oatman Road, Bullhead City, Arizona 86442. Graveside services will immediately follow the mass at Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley, Arizona 86440. A Celebration of Life gathering will begin at 1:30 pm at Golf Club Pro Shop Lounge, 2020 Ramar Road, Bullhead City, Arizona 86442.
