With a heavy heart, we announce that God has called home our beloved Helen "Dana" Meers. Dana entered into heavenly rest on Monday, July 12, 2021. She was born on July 29, 1966 and grew up in Barstow, Calif.
Dana moved to Mohave Valley, Ariz. in 1995. She worked at Napa Auto Parts/Big O Tires in Needles, Calif. for 20+ years and was loved by so many. She always had a smile and a kind word for all she met. Her heart was as big as her smile, not only for her family and friends, but for the many fur babies that she loved. She loved all animals. She was an avid Vikings fan. Go Vikings! You could always count on a big hug and a kiss from her.
Dana was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Graul; sisters, Shirley Blake and Janet Evans.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband and soulmate, Joseph Meers; her loving children, Sarina (Brandon) Winne and Joseph (Ivy) Meers; her father, Thomas Graul; brothers, Joseph Bricen, James Willyard and William Graul; sister, Melvia (Pidge) Jones; sisters/brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; her Napa/Big O family; and many, many friends whose hearts she has touched.
Please join us for a celebration of life for our sweet Dana at 11 am on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Faith Chapel Church of God at 1510 Highland St., Needles, CA, presided by Pastor Lloyd Pharr. A reception will follow at the Needles Senior Center at 1699 Bailey Ave., Needles, CA.
She will be forever missed, and she will forever remain in our hearts. She is now dancing on the streets of gold with our Heavenly Father as our newest guardian angel. Rest easy beautiful.
