Janice Way (1938 – 2021)

Janice Cozett Way, 83, passed away on September 18, 2021. She was born on January 16, 1938 in Hector Arkansas. Janice was the youngest of 4 children born to Morgan and Okla Culwell.

Janice was raised in Provo, Utah and later moved to Lindsay, California where she met her husband, Raymond Sisk and had 2 children. After her divorce from Raymond in 1962, Janice moved to Porterville, California and earned her L.V.N. Certification. She loved caring for others and was proud to be a nurse. She then married her second husband, James H. Way in 1966. They enjoyed 41 years together. They purchased a vacation house in Bullhead City, Arizona in 1975 and after retiring they moved to Fort Mohave, Arizona in 1989 where they both resided until their passing.

Janice loved spending time with her children, grandkids, and her neighbors who she thought of as family. She enjoyed boating, cooking, and living in Fort Mohave, Arizona. Her favorite place to eat was the Prime Rib Room at the Riverside Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. She will be sorely missed by her family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her Husband James, Son Bobby Ray Sisk, Granddaughter Jennice Lynn Pipkin, Brother Ed Culwell, and her Sister Connye Kubo. She is survived by her Daughter Sandra Lynn (Doug) Pipkin of Fresno, California. Her Brother, Gerald (Barbara) Culwell of Columbus, Ohio, 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, many friends and her beloved dog Cuddles.

A graveside service will be held on October 4, 2021 at 10:00AM at Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens in Mohave Valley, Arizona.
