Aceneth Wilson – July 24, 1942 to December 3, 2021
Ceny Wilson lived life on her own terms. The youngest of 10 children, she was raised rough and tough on her parents’ cattle ranch in northern Nevada and southern Idaho. She graduated from Buhl High School and went on to Beauty School in Twin Falls, Idaho.
In 1986, she graduated from College of Southern Idaho with her Associate of Arts degree. An amazing cook, she enjoyed making pies and always put her own spin on recipes.
She loved her family and friends, always giving people chances to prove themselves and a kick in the pants and a boost up when needed. She adopted many under her wing and loved the family she had created from the friends in Bullhead City, Arizona. For the last 8 years, she was the River Glen RV Resort Park Manager and her favorite activities included providing a family style dinner during Thanksgiving and Christmas for the residents.
One of her many sayings “Don’t do anything halfway, either do it or don’t, but half ass is not good enough”. She loved to say to her adopted grandbaby Kaci – “I love you to the moon and back”. If Ceny thought you were not taking care of yourself, “Quit burnin’ the candle at both ends” and “What you oughta do is..”
Ceny is survived by her brother Grover Wilson (Mary Ann) of Twin Falls, and sister Pricilla Webster (Clyde), also of Twin Falls, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as cousins.
Ceny left a legacy behind with her children, grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Brian Wilson of Salt Lake City, Ut and his two sons Andrew (wife Megan) and Mathew. Michelle Lindbloom (Lance) of Havre, Mt, and her son Wyatt (wife Tori), and daughters Megan and Makayla. Nicole Murray (Wally) of Reno, Nv and her daughter Mercades and son McKenzie. All three of her children are successful humans and who have raised wonderful children, she was proud of each of them!
Mom – you will be missed, your humor, your distinct laugh when you got the best of us, and your legacy will live on in our children. Love, Brian, Michelle & Nicole
